Creamy Tomato Tortellini Bake with golden melted cheese in a rustic baking dish

CANAL SIDE NO. 1 RECIPE

Creamy Tomato Tortellini Bake

Cozy, creamy, and baked until golden, this tortellini bake is the kind of weeknight dinner that feels like it took more effort than it actually did. Canal Side No. 1 brings in that garlic-herb warmth that makes the sauce taste fuller, richer, and a little more special.

Ingredients

  • 1 package refrigerated or frozen cheese tortellini
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons Canal Side No. 1
  • Optional: fresh basil, parsley, or extra parmesan for topping

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook tortellini according to package directions, keeping it slightly firm since it will continue baking.
  3. In a baking dish, stir together marinara, cream, and Canal Side No. 1.
  4. Add the cooked tortellini and gently toss until coated.
  5. Top with mozzarella and parmesan.
  6. Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and lightly golden.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Salt Spring Tip

For extra flavor, sprinkle a little more Canal Side No. 1 over the cheese before baking. It gives the top a cozy garlic-herb finish without making the dish complicated.
